I have finally arrived!

It only took me 35 years to get here. Talk about taking baby steps!

Writing has always been my passion. My first experience was at 8 years old. I won an essay contest for my school district on Soil and Water Conservation.

I was the girl in middle school and Highschool that you would find in the library during lunch. Secretly, I dreamed of becoming a journalist. 🤓

Instead of following my career dreams, I followed my other dream.  Like most young girls, I wanted to be Cinderella. So at the young age of 19, I got married and started a family.

After doing the whole married thing, and by the way Cinderella isn’t all she’s cracked up to be. My children are a bit older now. They are 10 and 13. I am following my dreams one step at a time. I’m focusing on my children, my education and my career.

So what do you think? I know. I did the whole thing backwards! It might end up being one big disaster but I will enjoy every minute of it.
